Memory Lane Christmas Lights

An expanded Memory Lane Christmas Light Display moved to a new location at Pleasant Ridge in November of 1999. It has outgrown our driveway and with the opening of the Christmas Tree farm, we want to consolidate everything at one location. We plan to purchase additional displays on our own and hope that we can get corporate sponsors for even more displays.

The lights will be on Thanksgiving night. Then they will be on every night, except Monday and Tuesday, through Christmas Eve. The lights are all on by 5:30 and will stay on until 10:00 p.m.

The light display started in 1992 with a nativity scene in front of the house. Since then we've been adding figures and lights until every building around the driveway was lit and every part of the yard had a display. There were over sixty individual figures on display this year including one large piece with a 5' swinging bell.

We also started collecting 24" animated dolls and displayed them in a barn window. In 1998 we filled 2 more window displays with choralers, Santa's elves and Pooh characters.
